How to overcome Overwelming Emotions

What you feel is perfectly natural!

You are feeling the overwhelming emotional response to your current circumstances. Who wouldn’t be overwhelmed in this situation?

Perhaps there are just too many things going on, too many dramas, you have a problem that you don’t know how to resolve, or you are feeling the emotional response to a traumatic past event.

Whatever the reason, it is perfectly natural that people become overwhelmed when life gets too complicated and they are presented with too much.

So, what can be done about it?

When you don’t understand or know how to manage your emotional responses they can take on a life of their own, with you not knowing how to get a hold. This is when the situation escalates, and can lead to avoidance and depression because no matter what you try to physically do, the situation does not resolve.

There is a solution!

This might help clarify. You think about a problem (let’s use being out of work as an example), worry about the implications and feel emotional about it, the more you think and feel this worry and emotion, the stronger it gets. Then you try to physically do something to fix it like taking the first job you can get, but it doesn’t pay enough, so your financial problems are still a big worry. And the cycle continues.

Using Greene’s Release to firstly release the overwhelming sensations allows you to think clearly again, then whenever you feel yourself worrying about an issue (being out of work as the example), you go into the technique and follow the emotion to its base cause, the reason why you are out of work.

You will discover a belief in your subconscious (lets use “I’m a failure” as an example) and automatically hear why you took on this belief, what happened to make you think that you are a failure, how you have sabotaged your life to fulfill this belief, and all the implications this belief has created.

Once you have heard it all you will go “ah, now that makes perfect sense” and be ready to complete the last part of Greene’s Release which is to pick up and permanently remove the belief “I am a failure”. As soon as this is done you will just know the real truth, that you are a very special, perfect person who can do anything you like and succeed (the exact opposite of the original belief).

Therefore, to overcome overwhelming emotions all you need do is a simplified Greene’s Release technique.

To permanently eliminate the cause of your life problems which lead to your overwhelming emotions is very possible.

But it is your choice whether you want to stop allowing your emotions to rule your life, and wish to heal and resolve what causes them and difficult life situations.
