Understanding Yourself and Your Life Events

True happiness is an amazing feeling, it is a smile that comes from the inside out. Happiness makes you want to step outside and scream to the world how joyful life is. You can see it in a person’s eyes and demeanor. They beam with the energy and vitality of life.

Happiness is the burst of joy when you experience your free spirit in the physical. Try it for yourself. Get your favorite piece of music, the one that you feel to the core, and as you listen, close your eyes and let yourself open and feel it. Move, dance, sing, fly.

Did you feel it? Did you feel yourself? Did you feel the excitement and joy of living freely as yourself, even if just for a few minutes?

This is the purpose of life! To live freely as yourself – in the physical!

Pretending

What we are taught about happiness growing up could not be further from the truth. We are taught to put on a happy face, no matter how we feel – so we do.

I was always known as smiley – although I was aching inside. No-one had any idea how I felt as I played the role well, and had a permanent smile on my face. People often commented on how happy I always looked.

We also pretend to be happy because we don’t want other people to know our business, or to escape constant unhappy feelings that we have no idea how to resolve. By pretending we don’t have problems, we can fool ourselves into not having to face what is going on in our lives.

Happy Moments

People often wonder if happiness is something that is just there or not, or is it something we can make ourselves feel? Are we supposed to feel happy when things aren’t going well in our lives, or merely pretend to, to keep up appearances? Are we even allowed to feel happy?

While others wonder why they don’t feel happy when they have everything they want in life.

Happiness comes from within, so while you can fool those around you, you cannot fool yourself.

  • It is impossible to be genuinely happy when your life is a mess – are you are suppose to think this situation is wonderful and be happy about it?
  • It is impossible to be genuinely happy when you are living the dysfunctional beliefs that you created as a 6 year old child (I’m not good enough, I will never succeed, no-one can love me).
  • It is impossible to be genuinely happy when you are not free to be yourself.

The Path To Happiness

Happiness is the prized reward that comes to all who want it badly enough.

Finding happiness is as simple as removing the things that make you unhappy. We can stop pretending, be real, and allow ourselves to feel the good and the bad, knowing that we can do something about every single thing we no longer wish to feel.

Knowing this is very powerful because we can then transform the unhappy feelings that our problem issues raise, into opportunities to resolve one more issue. It almost becomes a pleasure for unhappy feelings to surface because we know the benefit each creates.

The relief that comes from knowing how to resolve stressful and worrying issues is a great happiness creator – it is like feeling an inner buzz that is excitedly waiting to be set free.

Happiness Insights

Near the end of my own introspection journey, when love became my focus, I would wake up each day and hear the most beautiful verse and thoughts about the simplicity of happiness – I was ready to awaken to the joy of life and living.

I created two cd collections of these fun activities and inspirational insights – so you too could be inspired from the inside out.

The The Little Book of Inspirations is filled with verse and activities that will not only remind you what it is to feel good, but how to increase the time you spend feeling these pleasant sensations. It also shows you how to relax and enjoy real feeling again – to feel is to enjoy life.

A Smile for the Children is one of the special energy stories I woke up knowing one morning. It will fill you with the energy of life and love. It is indeed for the child in all of us.

Healing

It is natural that we alternate between true happiness and discomfort when we have issues to resolve, because discomfort is our natural way to remind ourselves that something requires our attention. Each time we ignore it means it comes back even stronger, hence repeats.

Yet our overall sense of peace and happiness grows as we complete each Greene’s Release activity and release, as we feel more aware, and open, and in control of our own life.

So balance your healing work with relaxation and happy times, and enjoy the journey.
