Health & Well-Being
People generally seem to accept dis-ease and physical symptoms as a natural part of life. As though luck plays a major part in it. Some, like me are rarely ill, while others undergo one bout of illness after another. The overall incidence of general conditions like back problems, allergies, asthma, obesity, arthritis, reflux and constipation seems to be increasing.
What part do our mind and beliefs play in health and well-being?
Try these exercises. Think of 2 things you could do tomorrow, one you really enjoy and the other you dislike thoroughly (from the Feelings chapter in Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find You). Notice how you body feels and reacts to each, there is a definite feel and difference isn’t there?
Now, think of one of your recent aches and pains. See if you can find the mind relationship?
One lady who’s back was always knotty and aching, when asked what was on her mind realized it was the same as how her back felt. All twisted and knotted. So we worked on healing and releasing what was bothering her, and the back pain left.
What of the man who suffers severe acid stomach/reflux, complaining his life is already too stressed to deal with this added discomfort? Acid = stress.
Or the person, whose first idea of what would make their day happy, is going to the bathroom each morning? All the while holding on tightly and not wishing to let go of their fears and beliefs. And they wonder why they are constipated?
Once we understand how things work and have learned to release with the Greene’s Release technique, we can then take a look at how we feel physically, and address those issues. The outcome is quite unusual.
The Health & Well Being section in Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find You shares the tools to investigate, understand and heal any chosen issue, so it then becomes the reader’s choice as to how far they wish to go with this topic. There is no limit!
Please read the other articles to get more information regarding the healing methods used in Janet Greene’s books.
