Why are you So Stressed?
While stress is a natural physiological function that is necessary to live, when we feel too much stress it has the opposite effect. Our blood pressure goes up, we feel physically ill and can develop various illnesses.
Finding ways to deal with excessive levels of stress has become the norm. Hopefully medication to dull our brain and bodies is not seen as the only answer.
So let us look at the various types of stress, and then an option to end stress entirely.
Anxiety
This is when a person feels uptight and on edge most of the time. They may think it is stress, but the difference is that they feel an overwhelming sense of worry, often without knowing what about.
Anxiety is the body’s natural fight and flight response to danger, because it keeps our senses heightened, ready to flee at a moments notice. Sometimes it stays turned on even when there is nothing to fear happening.
People who have lived with any form of control or abuse naturally have heightened anxiety levels because they had to be ready to run at a moments notice. These heightened levels remain after removal from the situation, and can be felt for decades. Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find You shows you how to finish with the past, and heal the cause of this issue and it’s impact, with step-by-step guidance every step along the way. The Fear and Depression articles provide more information.
The Worrier
For the person who finds themselves worrying about every little thing for no good reason, their anxiety levels can be very high because they turn even small things into big drama.
The Little Book of Inspirations includes some very effective methods to calm worried minds. The reader learns how to relax and enjoy real feeling again, discovers the healing sensations that come from energy, some tricks to stop worry dead in it’s tracks, how to stop people pushing their buttons, to open and feel beautifully relaxing love sensations, and generally methods to introduce a sense of balance back into their lives.
Overwhelmed
When stressful situations consume every moment of our day, awake and in dreams, it becomes impossible to step out of the drama and stress of the situation. We then become totally overwhelmed, and all the aspects of our life are effected. The thing is that until we find a way to step back out of this drama, finding a solution is impossible.
Overwhelmed with situations is a common problem, and this is why we included a special chapter to teach people how to release this overwhelming emotion early in Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find You. People can then think with a clear head, and often find the solution they seek.
There is absolutely no reason to sit in an overwhelming emotion when it can be quickly and easily dealt with.
Dissatisfied
Our mind’s are very clever because even when we try and ignore things that don’t feel right, our bodies feel it for us, so we can’t forget it exists.
To clarify. How many times have you forced yourself to ignore an issue that bothers you, because there’s nothing you can do about it anyway right? Then you have an upset stomach, get a headache or cold, or feel some other physical discomfort.
Or find that you feel forced to behave in ways that are so not you, then become physically unwell. If you can’t or won’t let yourself feel an emotion, your body will feel it for you.
Of course we want to be true to ourselves, of course we want to feel like the real us, but most of the time we feel like a stranger watching this person act in foreign ways that don’t make sense – and our body keeps trying to remind us that something isn’t right.
The Health & Well-being section in Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find You covers the physical aspect in detail, while all chapters progressively teach you how to addresses the disconnection, and allow yourself to feel, release, heal and change whatever this stress is trying to tell you.
A Natural Response
We are often told that our natural reactions to events are wrong, so we learn to tuck them away rather than acknowledging their validity (again often feeling them physically). Each time we discount a natural reaction and feeling we discount ourselves and our right to feel.
Therefore, the stress you feel can be a perfectly natural reaction to the events in your life.
People come to me, desperate to do something about their stress and depression, saying how they are becoming increasingly ill and the medication prescribed isn’t helping.
They then go on to describe a huge list of life altering events that are occurring simultaneously. A work environment that is aggressive, causing financial repercussions which are undermining their security, changes in their family living status and life changing dramas that have been occurring to out of state relatives.
What do people expect? That they are robots who are not allowed to feel anything? Anyone who has one or more life changing situations going on cannot possibly expect to be able to completely ignore how it naturally makes them feel.
Why Accept Stress?
Here is a totally different thought – but one that makes perfect sense!
Why would anyone wish to learn how to cope with the stress sensation (our natural warning system to alert us when something is wrong), instead of resolving the issue that it is highlighting?
In other words, why do you choose to accept stress, rather than do something about it?
Stress is your mind and body’s natural way of telling you that something is wrong! All you have to do is listen to your mind and body to see how your life is going – it will definitely tell you the truth – even when you’re not aware.
But people are so focused on their intellectual, non feeling mind, that they completely ignore and discount the feedback from all other areas, and generally, people do not realize that they have any power to do anything about the life they live – life happens to them.
You can take charge of your life, break down any uncomfortable emotion or situation, discover its cause and permanently resolve that cause – thus ending any need to continue experiencing this uncomfortable circumstance.
All you need do is step out of your logical mind and wake up your awareness of yourself, your life and your own ability to determine the circumstances of that life. You are in full charge – if you choose to take charge.
Clarification
I’m sure you’ve heard this before, and usually that’s how it ends. Telling you that you can do something without telling you how to do that something. And you end up feeling silly because you just don’t ‘get it’, and as much as you want to fix an issue – you just don’t know how.
I am not going to do that!
I am telling you right here and now that you do not have to accept stress. And while you’d love me to tell you how to dissolve it right here and now, that is impossible – because this is merely an article about stress.
I’d rather take you through the physical steps of dissolving the cause of your stress, so you experience it first hand, understand it, and are able to apply the same concepts to any stressful situation that ever arises again. I want you to learn how to eliminate your own stress – for yourself.
I want you to take charge of your life – and that is exactly what I will show you how to do!
The Greene’s Release materials in Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find You turn stress management upside down by using stress sensations as triggers to follow, so the cause can be uncovered, then resolved and permanently released with the Greene’s Release Technique.
But it wont seem like you are focusing on stress, because alleviating the cause of your stress is a natural byproduct of the materials. And don’t worry if this seems overwhelming, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process, with plenty of hands on practical activities to make each step easy.
